About CoParentPrep
CoParentPrep publishes general preparation materials for people exploring platonic co-parenting. Our guides help readers clarify intended roles, organize conversations, and prepare questions for appropriately licensed professionals.
Who publishes this site
The publisher is CoParentPrep. Articles are attributed to the publishing organization. We do not currently name an individual expert author or claim clinician, attorney, or counselor approval. We are not a law firm, medical practice, matching service, or counseling service.
Editorial standards
- Specific sourcing. We link clinical background to relevant patient education, professional guidance, or original research. We identify dated sources and their scope. A source link is not an endorsement.
- Clear uncertainty. We distinguish research findings from practical suggestions, hypothetical examples, and unknown information. We do not predict family outcomes or resolve individual legal questions.
- Transparent numbers. Calculator defaults are illustrative allowances. Readers can replace them with quotes. We do not describe those defaults as verified national averages.
- Honest review labels. An updated date records substantive editorial work. It does not mean a professional approved the article or that every source was published on that date.
- AI-assisted editing. AI tools have assisted research, writing, editing, and testing. Source checks and editorial revisions do not substitute for professional clinical or legal review.
How the tools work
Tool answers are processed in your browser page and are not saved or sent by the tools. Scores summarize the entered answers; timelines and costs use disclosed assumptions. The tools are not validated assessments of fertility, compatibility, parental suitability, or legal readiness.
How we make money
We sell the $49 Preparation Toolkit. Free guides stand on their own; purchasing the toolkit is optional. We currently have no affiliate relationship with, and receive no compensation from, the matching services, clinics, or law firms mentioned on this site. Any future commercial relationship should be disclosed where it is relevant.
Corrections and feedback
Contact [email protected] with the page URL, the statement you are questioning, and a supporting source where available. Do not email medical records, identity documents, or other sensitive personal information. We review reports before changing a claim; this contact route does not provide professional advice.
Editorial update: October 4, 2026
We revised the existing guides, replaced broad outcome and legal predictions with clearer preparation questions, corrected free-sample descriptions, and separated example budgets from market-price claims. No professional approval or personal experience was added.
