Co-Parent Compatibility Checklist
What the summary means
The 20 statements cover money, parenting time, values, logistics and conflict resolution. Each answer receives 0, 1 or 2 points, with a maximum of 8 per area and 40 overall. The percentage is your points divided by 40. Every statement has equal weight for this summary; that does not mean every issue matters equally in your circumstances.
This is not a validated compatibility test, a prediction of conflict, or a readiness threshold. A high total can coexist with an important unresolved issue. A zero can mean an undiscussed topic or disagreement; discuss which it is rather than treating those situations as identical.
Choose the next conversation
- Undiscussed or disputed: clarify each answer using the questions guide.
- Discussed but unsettled: write down what remains open and what information or professional help you need.
- Discussed and aligned: record the specifics and review them as circumstances change; explore agreement topics with a qualified attorney.
You can seek legal or counseling advice at any stage. No score establishes that an arrangement is safe, suitable or legally enforceable.
